Dodonaea Viscosa – Florida Hopbush

Dodonaea Viscosa, commonly known as Florida Hopbush, is a hardy, evergreen shrub admired for its narrow, bronze-green leaves and upright growth habit. Native to warm climates, it’s exceptionally suited to the UAE’s dry, sunny conditions, making it an excellent choice for hedges, screens, windbreaks, and drought-tolerant landscapes.

This fast-growing shrub requires minimal care once established and is valued for its resilience, salt tolerance, and year-round color. Whether trimmed into a neat hedge or allowed to grow naturally, it adds structure and movement to modern gardens and villa landscapes.
