Casuarina Equisetifolia – Australian Pine Tree

The Australian Pine Tree (Casuarina equisetifolia) is a fast-growing evergreen that’s perfect for lining driveways, creating green barriers, or adding height and texture to coastal-style landscapes. Despite its name, it’s not a true pine — but its needle-like foliage and upright growth give that same calming forest feel.

Ideal for the UAE climate, Casuarina thrives in sandy soil, tolerates drought, and handles strong winds like a champ. It’s commonly used for windbreaks, privacy screens, and large garden backdrops.
